Oyster shell is no longer used in making men's wear accessories.
The pollution of the oyster beds in most of the world has resulted in shell that is too thin and brittle.
These 1930s classical cuff links are a perfect accessory for both casual and formal wear.
The medium size and minimalist design of these cuff links makes them equally suited to both men and women.

Swank has always been one of the most prestigious producers of cuff links:
Swank was founded in Attleboro, Massachusetts in 1897. Originally called the Attleboro Manufacturing Company, it manufactured and distributed men's and women's costume jewelry.
During World War I the company made dog tags for the US military. After the war ended, it changed focus to produce only men's jewelry and accessories.
